Last week, I had the pleasure of attending an International Women’s Day event hosted by Young Entrepreneurs Southend-On-Sea and Empower Her Community. It was an incredible experience, filled with inspiring conversations and powerful stories of entrepreneurship.

One of the most striking moments of the event was seeing entrepreneurs as young as 22 presenting their businesses with confidence and determination. Their passion was contagious, their vision clear, and their courage unwavering. Watching them boldly step toward success made me reflect on my own journey—leaving my 9-5 at 25 and diving into the unknown world of entrepreneurship.

Being a young entrepreneur comes with its unique set of challenges, but one of its greatest advantages is naivety. When you don’t yet know all the potential roadblocks ahead, you move with fearless determination. You take risks others might overanalyse. You say yes to opportunities without the weight of doubt holding you back. And often, that unshakable belief in yourself is exactly what it takes to make things happen.

Looking back, I realise how different my life would be if I hadn’t taken that leap of faith. If I had let fear dictate my decisions, I wouldn’t have built LTM Assistants, I wouldn’t have met the incredible clients and team members who make every day so rewarding. And most importantly, I wouldn’t have the freedom and fulfillment that comes with running a business I love.

1. Define Your Vision – Get crystal clear on what you want to achieve. Write down your goals, create a vision board, and visualise your success. When your vision is strong, fear takes a back seat.
